What is bibliotherapy?

Bibliotherapy is a collective name for initiatives that through reading aim to cure or alleviate mental illness, increase the quality of life or contribute to a personal development of maturity. It is also called literature therapy and means that you read fictional texts and then talk and reflect on the literature. By dressing their memories and experiences in words, it makes it easier to cope through traumatic events or events that can give new angles on their situation.
