In the Swedish national search service Libris you can find books held by all Swedish university libraries. You can filter your search to, for example, theses (PhD and licentiate) or to free online resources. Customise Libris under "My libraries" to easily see which books are available in your favourite libraries.
Keep in mind that most of the library books collections are electronic, and the printed books ofte are of a slightly older date.
However - in art and design there is still a lot in printed form, many in a larger format with nice illustrations.

The online resource Bloomsbury Cultural History is a comprehensive survey of social and cultural construction, covering a wide range of topics: the history of ideas, ethics, art, fashion, color, and much more. These surveys span six historical periods, from antiquity to modernity.
Note that most of the library's new e-books are not visible in this list.
